This time the "Libelle", a 1934 built passenger boat, served as the boat for starting the regatta and as destination. Compared with the "Weissenhaus" she is not so much suitable for accompany of a regatta but you have the feeling being at home in your sitting room when watching the ships from the sofa in the drawing-room. |

| This regatta will be remembered as one of the coldest. Also this year we had changing weather conditions. On each Rum-Regatta you can meet sailing ships still not considered in this tall-ship encyclopedia. Unfortunately the continual rain prevented taking many good photos. | |

Do you already know the islands "Ochseninseln", in Danish Okseø? These are very worth a visit!
Since 2004 the new tenants Jenny Kowalski, Bettina Ingwersen, Rüdiger Fleck and Olaf Kienke care to give back
the original use to these islands. The concepts is a combination of agriculture and ship building
cultural and ecological events and to maintain maritime traditions.
