- built 1932 at the English shipyard Berthon Boat Company Ltd in Lymington, after plans of the English yacht designer Joseph M. Soper from Southhampton, first owner was the industrialist H. Fletcher from Southhampton, launched in April, 1932; first name "Vera Mary" after the name of the wife of the owner.
- participated in regattas, among others the Cowes Week in the Solent.
- 1935 sold to the British king George V., who presented her to the royal sailing teacher Sir Philip Hunloke honouring his achievements Hunloke has been the skipper of the royal yacht "Britannia" for many years.
- new owners since 1939, registered in San Remo and Cannes on the Cote d'Azur, FRA; renamed the "Franik II" and "Hawaita".
- acquired in 1982 by the Swiss R. Menzel, used as a charter yacht.
- acquired in 1989 by the British C. Law, extensive restoration until 1991 at Hamble Yacht Service in Port Hamble, GBR; subsequently participated in regattas in the Mediterranean, renamed "Vera Mary".
- sold to German owner in 1995, further restoration and restoration of the former gaff rig.
- from 1996 relocation to the Canary Islands in Port Mahon, SPA.
- after bankruptcy and further sale relocation to Rostock, GER in 1999; overhaul work and then used for sailing trips on the Baltic Sea, from 2002 berthed in Eckernförde and Arnis on the Schlei, GER.
