  • replica of a ship built in 1628 in Amsterdam and that was wrecked off the Australian coast, the shipwreck was salvaged in the 1970s and can be visited in an exhibition in Fremantle, West-Australia
  • start of reconstruction was in 1985 at a specialized yard, the reconstruction project was a training project for young people
  • use of many historicak sources (archives, museums, building descriptions from the 17th century, prints, paintings), to achieve the most authentic reconstruction of the ship
  • ship is now owned and made public as a museum's ship under sail and ambassador of the seafaring nation holland
  • 1999 transport of the ship to Sydney to the Olympic Games 2000, she returned to Lelystad in June, 2001
