  • built for the Laeisz shipping company; made six voyages with salpetre to Chile from 1912; was laid up in Iguigue at the beginning of the First World War.
  • returned with salpetre to Marseille in 1921 and was handed over to France; repurchase by Laeisz in 1921, repaired in Hamburg and re-used for salpetre transport; was converted to a cargo training ship in 1927.
  • collisions occurred in the channel in 1928-1929 and the ship was sold in 1932 to Mariehamn; This sale was followed by voyages to Australia under the Finnish colours.
  • laid up in Mariehamn during the war.
  • Postwar tours to South Africa; later laid up due to a lack of orders in Cardiff.
  • was re-purchased by the shipowner Schieven and was given a general overhaul in Travemünde, GER.
  • transported cement to Brazil and Argentina in 1952 and then the "Pamir und Passat" foundation took control of both sailing boats, made five trips to South America in the period up to 1957.
  • in 1959 sold to the city of Lübeck, GER; used as houseboat and training ship for young seamen in Travemünde and was anchored at Privall Pier from 1965-95.
  • general overhaul in 1997/98.
  • the supporters "Friends of the Passat" considered rigging the bark again, this project failed.
