Portrait of the sailing ship:
Last update: 11 Apr 2021
- built as the only training ship of its kind in Leningrad (although sister ships were planned, it was impossible to build them in the new political circumstances).
- her trips take this sailing ship to many North and Baltic Sea ports. She has participated in several sailing events e.g. Sail Bremerhaven 1995 and Baltic Sail 1996. After the Rostock-St. Petersburg race the crew was awarded a "Cook longest at Sea" prize by ISTA.
- she has very close contacts with young people from Rostock (e.g. the ASB children's home, the "Likedeeler" pleasure boat and the city youth club) and voyages therefore often bring the young crew to Rostock e.g. in 1997 and 1998.
- visits at the Hanse Sail Rostock 2010 and 2018.
- since 2012 operated by the St. Petersburg Maritime Technical College.
