  • former Norwegean Jakt, built 1874, first name "Anne Dorthea".
  • used for transport in the North and Baltic Sea region, mainly with salted fish.
  • fitted with an engine in the mid of the 20th century.
  • decommissioning in the 1970s
  • 1984 purchased by Miquel Borillo Esteve, begin of a restoration, first in Vinaros/SPA, later since 1991 in Barcelona/SPA as part of a project for vocational education in maritime handcraft.
  • 1992 foundation of the EL FAR Consortium with the aim of providing Sail Training and maritime handcraft for vocational preparation and education, use of the ship as ambassador of the city of Barcelona.
  • renamed the "Far Barcelona" in July 2006.
  • participation in the tall-ship festivals at the Spanish coast in La Coruna 2006 and Barcelona 2007, 2008 participation in the Armada Rouen festival.
  • 2016 dissolution of the EL FAR Consortium, since then the ship belongs to the Maritime Museum of Barcelona.
