- built by Albert de Jong shipyard in Vlaardingen as a herring logger between September and November 1914, original name was "Graaf van Limburg Stirum", owned by N. Parlevliet & Zn. shipping company, used in the Dutch herring fleet until 1925.
- 1935 sold to A.J. Asmussen from Denmark, 1958 installation of the first engine, renamed the "Maria Olymp", until 1978 used as a coastal freighter to transport grain, stones and other bulk goods.
- 1960 sold to Harry Toft from Aalborg who renamed her "Tekla" and who sold her to Paul Mork in 1977.
- 1979 she was bought by Ad Habets and Jan de Graaf from Holland.
- 1986 sold to Jaap Vreeken and Jenny Pierik from Zwartsluis/NL, until 1989 converted to a sailing ship for cruising with passengers on charter voyages, change of the name to "Tecla".
- 2006 new owners became the family Bouwman & Sluik, used for sail training, participation in tall-ship races of the STI.
- ship fulfills the requirements of safety by the Dutch inspection authorities and is inspected each year.
- Nov 2012- spring 2014 circumnavigation together with "Oosterschelde" and "Europa" rounding Cape Hope, Cape Leeuwin and Cape Horn, participation in sailing events and Tall Ships Races held in Australia.
