22nd Rum-Regatta Flensburg 2001
Also the 22nd Rum-Regatta was the expected beautiful sailing event for friends of traditionally rigged sailing ships, a meeting of friends of gaff rigged sailing vessels. Faithfully following the motto: "Better undamaged and second than broken down" again umpteen sailing ships started the non-serious cruising race along the Flensburg Bay. Safety was most important, but also traditional and nautical skills and not at least fun were the center points of this event.
Thank you very much to Gerd Büker for his support and also thank you to Olaf, Peter and Lars, the crew of the "Weissenhaus".
