  • the "Endracht II" replaced the "Endracht", which was sold in 1989 to the German association Clipper "Deutsches Jugendwerk zur See" and renamed the "Johann Smith", and became the flag ship of the Sail Training Association in the Netherlands.
  • used as a sail training ship, sails Northern European waters with trainees of all age-groups, moving to the Canary Islands or the Caribbean in winter time, during the holiday months she sails with youth crews (15 to 26 years) on board; the ship is also chartered for cruises by individuals as well as by groups and companies.
  • has taken part in several regattas, such as the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race in 1990 and 1991, the 1994 Windjammer Regatta in Rouen, the 1996 Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race from Rostock- St. Petersburg-Turku-Copenhagen, and the Hanse Sail Rostock in 1998.
  • in 1998 she also won the North German Radio prize in the 2nd Hiorten Race from Karlskrona to Rostock.
