  • built 1937 at the shipyard Companhia União Fabril in Lisbon, PO for the fishing company Parceria Geral de Pescas Lda. commissioning on May 19, 1937; until 1973 she belonged to the Portuguese fishing fleet, which operated at the Grand Banks until the 1970s fishing for cod.
  • between April and September she was used in cod fishing campaigns in Newfoundland and Greenland, during the winter maintained and fitted in the habour.
  • laid up in Lisbon since 1973, 1979 purchased by the Portuguese Ministry of Fishery to be converted to a museum ship at the shipyard H. Parry & Son in Lisbon, because of the excellent condition of the hull she was completely fitted for sailing again, and in 1987 commissioned as sail training vessel for the Portuguese Navy and the Academy for Fishing.
