  • designed by the Timothy Graul Marine Design company started in 1993.
  • begin of her building in spring of 1994, when a shipyard on Milwaukee's lakefront is established, official keel laying ceremony in autumn 1995, built by professional boatbuilders supported by many volunteers and local companies, launched in summer 2000.
  • US Coast Guard certification for sailing with guests, she is a good will ambassador for the US State of Wisconsin, used as a floating classroom to educate people of all ages in the history and ecology of the Great Lakes of America and to teach seamanship, sailing and responsibility to youths and adults.
  • named the "Denis Sullivan" in summer of 1999 to honour one of the most prominent Great Lakes ship captains through the turn of the 19th century.
